One of the most valuable uses of the form controls in Access 2010 is to ensure the accuracy of data and reduce error chances. Moreover, when you use combo boxes, you have the ability to retrieve data from another table so the users don’t have to write and misspell. Also with the use of combo boxes, it is easy to write a new data when needed but not all the time. If you want to add a combo box to your form based on the data in a table, follow these steps:
1- Open the form in the layout view, from the form layout tools design contextual tab, in the controls group, click the combo box control icon, then click the place you want to place the combo box into.
